October 16, Saturday, Pat & Dene Barrett's in Frazier Park - 11am - Join us for a fun filled day in the mountains as we descend (after ascending Tejon Pass) on Dene and Pat Barrett in Frazier Park. They are graciously opening their doors to the club and all those members willing to challenge the mountains of Southern California. So crank up those ol' 4 cylinder D's  and 2 cylinder A series. And if you feel 2 cylinders ain't sufficient, travel with a friend and use a bungee cord to make up for it. (contact Ruben Diaz for tips on drafting semis up the Castaic grade in early A series or best methods of getting the tow rope attached as they past by).  Food is pot luck, so bring sufficient eatables and drink as we enjoy the rarefied and most likely the last of clean air in SoCal. If there is sufficient interest we may even hold a door hanging clinic. No, not for the Barretts, but for those pesky doors on D series that always seem to cause locking problems.

The cornucopia spills forth brimming & bristling with brie, brilliance & bravado as we celebrate another years worth of circumventing the obvious & shirking work to gather & make merry.  As always when visiting with the Harpers in their unique Sunland Geodestic Dome home do be careful of things you say in and around their computer desk area as  every whispered gem can be  clearly heard in the far corner of their kitchen where your president plans on being strategically placed. Bring some goodies to share in your Citroen & dive headlong like Sonic the Hedgehog into the hedonistic holidays! Always a 4 chevron affair! Party ends when the last reindeer staggers home!
