We
went back to Ventura California for this year's Rendezvous and another
stay at the beautiful Pierpont Inn. The
event was jam packed with amusement, from the silent auction to vendors
& peoples choice voting, Steve and Andy's twisted videos (did you
see "The Sacto Files"?) and a visit to the magnificent Mullin Automotive
Museum .
A sumptuous banquet was provided with the
awards presentation hosted by President Steve Hammond & past president
Wally Escherich and a video presentation from Jerry Hathaway on the SM's
40th birthday. Lest we forget, and there are many of us who would like
to, the mighty Citroen Car Club Players stuck
struck suck again!
All in all it was 3 very short days that never failed to
entertain. With a great array of cars & people who ventured from as far
away as Germany and Mexico to attend. Once again, a hearty tip of the chevrons must
be given to all those who attended & everyone who put in their hard work
to make Rendezvous 2010 a great success.
