This
years Southern California Rendezvous was an exquisite event, downright
elegant. The beautiful Pierpont Inn provided a wonderful setting that
offered a transporting essence that made mirth inescapable. The
event was jam packed with amusement, from the silent auction to vendors
& peoples choice voting to a glorious scenic road tour through the
highlands to Lake Casitas with a winery stop on the return.
A sumptuous banquet was provided with the awards presentation hosted by President Steve Hammond & MC'd by Immediate Past president Wally Escherich. A fabulous slide presentation was given by Lincoln Sarmanian, featuring photos of past events & quirky Citroenia.
More wine, more mirth & finally a Sunday wrap up
Tech Session on DS brake bleeding delivered by some of Southern
California's top Citroen mechanics. (Holmes, we hope you made it home
safely).
All in all it was 3 days of Citroenic Saturnalia that never failed to
entertain. With a great array of cars & people who ventured from as far
away as Michoacan, Mexico to attend. A hearty tip of the chevrons must
be given to all those who attended & everyone who put in their hard work
to make this years Rendezvous a great success. Stay tuned to
